2026 EquiLateral EA-EMDR Training (February, Arizona Practicum)
with Sarah Jenkins
EquiLateral The Equine-Assisted EMDR Course (15 EMDRIA Credits)
EquiLateral: The Equine-Assisted EMDR Protocol® was created by Sarah Jenkins, who premiered the equine-assisted approach to EMDR therapy. Equine-Assisted EMDR (EA-EMDR) involves partnering with horses as sentient beings and in a manner that is supported by training, qualifications, ethical practice, and a keen awareness of client and animal welfare. EMDR therapists trained in the protocol mindfully incorporate equine-assisted interactions within the eight-phased, three-pronged, standard EMDR protocol to become Equine-Assisted EMDR.
